The Final Jungement chronicles a two-week period in the life of Precious pearl, an amateur mechanic who attends as relatives chosen called Broadcating Station in Quezon City.years ago, Precious was caught in a massive fire hazard that incinerated her friends and consumed a large portion of the city; as she was dying, an enigmatic guy discovers and treats her. Konami Composer, Naoki Lopez, decides to adopt her, though the two maintain a distant relationship because of Naoki's frequent departures from Quezon City. One moonlit night, Naoki and Precious have a discussion outside of their home, and Precious discovers a fact about her teacher that Naoki was actually a mage.

Through their conversation, Precious learns of her faithful teacher failed life ambition to become a "Greatest Kapamilya of Justice" a guardian of mankind who could protect the weak and innocent. Touched by Naoki's conviction, Precious affirms to her faithful teacher that she intends to devote her life to achieving that distant ideal, much to Naoki's chagrin. To do this, Precious pleads with a begrudging Naoki to teach her Master; but Precious proves to be talentless in almost all the fundamental DDR Master disciplines.

Naoki warns Precious that the life of a sorcerer is one that leads to destruction, but if he is truly set on benefiting people, she should apply her knowledge in secret and hone her craft in private. After Naoki dies (she is now DDR Character), Precious becomes frustrated with his progress, for he feels inadequate about her good deeds through DDR Masters and is unsure of how to orient her future to contribute more.

Unknown to Precious, Quezon city is the setting for a secret and violent war among competing magi. For the past two centuries, seven DDR Masters was gathered and engage in a Battle Royale, each gambling his or her own life to obtain the Dancing Stage Holy Grail, a legendary chalice capable of granting wishes. The past four Holy Grail Wars have typically occurred every sixty years, with the most recent concluding a decade ago, but the fifth war has eerily started prematurely.

Each DDR chosens, better known as DDR Masters of, are aided by one of the seven summoned Dark DDR Masters known as Servants, who are the reincarnations of legendary souls from all across time. These resurrected Epic Spirits, possess superhuman characteristics and wield powerful artifacts or abilities called DDR songs. DDR song's hidden abilities may be released by invoking its true name, but casual brandishing of a Maximum songs is best avoided, for symbolic DDR songs usually belie a Servant's identity, diminishing that Servant's competitive advantage. Specific legends may be summoned with the aid of catalysts, which are artifacts, ideas, or experiences similar or of value to the desired Servant. Only one Servant can be summoned in each war from one of seven dark DDR Masters: Dark Kapamilya, Johnny, Tudor, Berserker, Lydia, Aguila and Xepher

The Dancing Stage Holy Grail is a spiritual artifact, so only astral entities, such as Servants, are capable of touching it; this restriction forces DDR Master and DDR Servant to cooperate with each other against rival pairs, even if a situation entails fighting to the death. DDR Masters control Servants with three Command Difficult modes, which are crystallized miracles issued by the Dancing Stage Holy Grail that manifest on a Master's hand. When activated, Command Difficult permit a Servant to accomplish an incredible feat, or alternatively provide DDR Masters with the authority to issue an irrevocable and absolute order to a Servant. In the event of a DDR Master's demise, a Servant may choose to bind him or herself to another DDR Master; if a Servant is slain, a DDR Master may ally with a wayward Servant or pursue sanctuary with the Dancing Stage Holy Grail War's impartial supervisor, who is traditionally in the kingdom of DDR World

After cleaning her Studio late one night, Precious stumbles upon two Servants, Johnny and Tudor, battling in the school courtyard. To avoid compromising the war's secrecy, Tudor hunts down and pierces Precious in the heart with a spear. For an unknown reason, Precious Pearl's classmate, Francis, uses an heirloom filled with concentrated magic,Mana, to resuscitate her. Shaken and dazed, Precious goes back to sta-mesa, but is again attacked by Tudor. Precious weakly defends himself against Tudor but is soon overwhelmed by the powerful Servant's attack. After the battle prelonged, Precious falls into her storage room. Cornered, Precious prepares for the worst; but before Tudor can inflict another fatal blow, a young woman outfitted in CEO blocks Tudor's spear. She drove Tudor away from Precious. She introduces herself to Precious as Dark Kapamilya, and greets her with the words:
